The ride book they were issued at check in here, Well we made it after Val's train was delayed in Illinois for a couple hours. But she is here and were all checked in. We had dinner at the Dam Brewery, most awesome in Dakota's words!. I forgot my USB To upload photos at check in but I'll get that taken care of tomorrow and put them here tomorrow night. Right now the girls are going through what snacks and accoutrements to bring with them tomorrow.
At Check In I noticed a fair share of people who will struggle daily on this ride as well as a lot of the senior grandpa/grandma types in the crowd as well as the ultra fit crowd who probably thrive on these types of things. All kinds of good Schwag was given away so the girls will be set for tomorrow.
I am offering to let the girls input their words but so far have been declined.
This is pretty cool, I'm about this much _ bummed I'm not riding and this much _____ grateful it's not me doing this.
In the morning we plan to be at the start at 5 AM, I'm not exactly sure when the update will post but most likely Monday morning sometime and you can see the notes in the Daily Blog above or here.
