What Is Ride The Rockies?

The Denver Post Ride The Rockies is an annual bicycle tour that takes 2,000 cyclists on a 6-7 day ride on paved roads through Colorado's Rocky Mountains each June.  SmileyCentral.com

EQUIPMENT

ALL CYCLISTS MUST WEAR A HELMET APPROVED BY CPSC, SNELL, ASTM OR ANSI! Bicycle trailers and child seats are not allowed on Ride The Rockies.

CONDITIONING

Ride The Rockies is a challenging event and includes several difficult climbs. Training is essential.

FOOD

Meals will be your responsibility. Host towns will provide inexpensive community meals. Restaurants and grocery stores are also available.

LODGING

Tour lodging facilities include outdoor camping and limited indoor group space (school gyms). Full service tent set-up and transportation is available during the tour for an additional charge. For more information and reservations, contact the Sherpa Packer at sherpapacker.com or 720-331-2401.
